Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Light Industrial Staffing division at our onsite office location. The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch’s operations, including client relationship management, employee recruitment and management, business development, and ensuring overall operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in light industrial staffing, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving results.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their staffing needs and ensuring their expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and cultivate new client partnerships within the light industrial sector.
- Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on staffing initiatives, performance metrics, and any relevant industry trends.
Staffing Operations:
- Oversee the full staffing lifecycle, from recruitment and selection to onboarding, training, and performance management of temporary and permanent employees.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to source, interview, and select qualified candidates to meet client requirements.
- Manage the scheduling and allocation of staff to client assignments, ensuring optimal resource utilization and client satisfaction.
- Monitor and track employee performance, providing coaching and guidance as needed to maintain high levels of productivity and quality.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the light industrial sector, including prospecting, networking, and attending industry events.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing our staffing solutions and addressing their specific needs.
- Collaborate with corporate leadership to develop and implement strategies for branch growth and market expansion.
Financial Management:
- Monitor branch budget and financial performance, making data-driven decisions to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on branch performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for employee documentation, client contracts, and other essential paperwork.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of staffing professionals, providing ongoing training and guidance to foster a high-performance culture.
- Set clear expectations, goals, and objectives for team members, conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in light industrial staffing or related industries, with 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of light industrial staffing processes, regulations, and industry trends.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a track record of business development success.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Solid financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Proficiency in utilizing staffing software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing staff.
